The Ringlite Converter is an accessory for monolights or flashheads which creates a Ringflash effect.
• Simply connects to any Bowens monolight or flash head (that uses the Bowens ‘Sʼ-type reflector mount) and is compatible with most cameras.
• Along with fashion photography the Ringlite Converter is also suitable for applications such as portraiture, product & technical photography.
• The Ringlite offers an economical way for photographers to move into Ringflash style photography.

OPERATING POINTS.
• Designed to operate without a modelling lamp.
• Capable of working continuously using a Gemini 500Ws at full power flashing up to every 10 secs. (for larger units the Ringlite operation should be on a pro-rata basis e.g. a 1000Ws head flashing every 20 secs at full power).
• It is normal for the Ringlite to warm up during operation, however to avoid the unit becoming too hot to touch comfortably it is recommended that the user does not work at an excessive flash rate.
• The Ringlite typically operates on F8 at 3m. When using the Ringlite the user can normally expect to lose around one f-stop of flash power.
• The front diffuser is removable to allow for a harder, more contrasting light output. RINGLITE INCLUDES.
• 2 camera brackets; one landscape and one portrait bracket.
• 2 x 1/4” camera mounting screws (one for each bracket) as well as a 1/4” to 3/8” adaptor sleeve.
• The Ringlite Converter is fitted with a standard Bowens ‘Sʼ-type reflector mount so is compatible with all current and many older Bowens monolights.
